The Story
What We Have Left is a full-length, live-action post-apocalyptic drama set in a future where all mammals (even humans) can no longer reproduce. Two brothers from the last generation are abandoned by the survival group that once protected them. Now? They have to fight to live on their own terms.
At its center is a neurodivergent hero: a culturally relevant story about the people we leave behind, and what it costs to keep hope alive when the world has run out of tomorrows.
It's an ambitious independent movie made by a crew that has shot for Ted Lasso, Hallmark, and Fortune 500 brands, and now we're making something with the help of our community. This is your chance to be a part of the resurgence of independent movies.
Where your donation goes
Over 70% goes directly to the cast and crew that make the movie, and the tools they use to do it. Distribution and marketing are built in from day one. Not only do we want to make the best movie we can make, but we want countless people to see it. Your donation helps that happen.
Not our first rodeo
Good Grief was optioned by a Los Angeles production company before it was even publicly released. Why us? The short answer: we make good content, and we finish what we start.
